Following the global trend in development of renevable energy we have designed and patented the FLOATING WAVE ENERGY PLATFORM - a floating construction that can harvest energy from three renevable sources: sun, wind and sea waves motion.
Locating a chain of FLOATING WAVE ENERGY PLATFORMS along the shoreline, will allow it to serve as a FLOATING BREAKWATER and protect seashore from coast erosion.
Estimated efficiency in absorbing sea wave energy stands at 60÷70%. Remaining quantity of energy, as assumed in design criteria, will still reach the seashore to let it keep marine enviroment characteristics, which are essential for organisms inhabiting sea water.
