Reconstruction of Rumunskie Quay in Port of Gdynia

On behalf of the Administration of the Port of Gdynia, we designed the reconstruction of the Rumunskie Quay in the Port of Gdynia on the section length of 634 m. The reconstruction will help to increase total technical depth near the quay to 13.5 m with the possibility of deepening to altitude -15.5m. Thanks to rebuilding independent, deepwater reloading position for units with capacity of about 70,000 DWT will be created.

The project will include the extension of existing mooring line position for ferry Ro-Ro of approx. 57.3 m, therefore it will be helpful for ferries during approach an move away from the ferry ramp.

There are two stages of the reconstruction of the Rumunskie Quay:

• Stages 1 – section of the quay with a length of approx. 356 m including sections of the expansion (section No. 1 to 19)
• Stages 2 – section of the quay with length of approx. 278 m including remaining sections (sections No. 20 to 34).

All railway, sanitation and electricity infrastructure will be also rebuilt .
